any way to get back the vm notification icon to know you have a voice mail ?? i checked my voice mail and i had 6 unread messages im used to the iconn on top telling me i have a vm

yes correct i tried a factory reset and still nothing is there something u have to set up?? or check

I don't get notifications for e-mails.

Call your voicemail and go into the settings, there is a option to turn it on and off. That happened to me a while back. Just random. I have also had it where the stinking icon wouldn't go away. Verizon.....

Thanks, I found the solution. On my HTC ONE X with android 4.x I had turned Auto syncing Off in Settings-Acoounts & Sync. It seems that the general rule blocks the app's settings.
