Voice Dialer Confirmation

Is there a way to have the Eris voice-dial without having to hit a confirmation on the screen? It seems really pointless to have hands free voice dialing where you have to hit a confirmation on screen.

AMEN. On my prev Samsung, phone would "propose" contacts and respond to "no" or "yes"
