Voice Issues since 4.04 Update?

I really did't have the voice issues until I got the update. Since the update people that I am talking to say I sound choppy or robotic. Is this a hardware issue with the mic or is it a signal issue? I have turned of the wifi, went 3g only and rebooted several times. This is happening on just about every call too. Anyone else having this issue?

I've heard and experienced choppy audio on speaker phone. Today actually. I believe it happened prior to 4.0.4 as well. When it happens I just take the call off speaker.

If your issues are always 100% present on speaker phone I would say it is hardware related.
