voice search

I updated to JB and it seems voice search is gone.
the market says its installed( if i go in i get no buttons to install uninstall open etc.)
but if I hit the mic button in browser it just FCs with no report option

I found this all out when I wanted to try the app robin which requires it.


note: the mic on my keyboard is gone too

It does not give me to option to uninstall and I can't find it in my application list on the phone

Check Google app, disabling that also kills voice search. Might uninstall/reinstall that. Big file, hope your on 4g.

It appears you Are correct.
Voice search is tied to Google search

So freezing that froze voice

Seems to be working
Going to try robin again

Yes, disable Google and the voice bar disappears on the home screen and kills the voice icon on the keyboards as well.
