wallpaper sizes

i would like to add a custom wallpaper to my droid 4. what would be the best size of the picture file? i had one that i used for the Samsung Fascinate but when I moved it over the the D4, it is not centered and does not look as good.

any suggestions?

I actually researched these dimensions before I bought the phone. The background I made is 960x854.

Mind you, this was made for a Droid 2. The ratio is the same, but I think the resolution on a D4 is higher than a D2. But the specs on the Droid4 say it runs a 960x540 resolution, so.....yeah.

Your mileage may vary in a big way. My wallpaper doesn't look warped or cropped in any way, so I'm just throwing those picture dimensions at you for now.
