Wanting froyo back.

Ok so I had gotten the rooted version of the leaked GB then installed the liberty GB v4. Ever since my contacts will not show unless someone I had saved in before ii switched over to GB calls or texts. Secondly I miss my ability to tether when I need to.

I downloaded the drivers as well as the latest RSDlite but it will not see my phone. From what I have read I can't simply flash from my recovery image so what else can I do to get back to 2.2 froyo?

Thanks. That seems a lot simpler than RSD. Now I can get my tether back as well as my 2700 quadrant scores I was getting with liberty 2.0. Faster phone plus tether, can't beat that.

I would try CM7 though. Boots off the Froyo kernel but is the latest version of GB. Super fast, smooth and tons of customization. Tether works too

Why in the world are you on v.4? Maybe updrading to v.9 might help with your contacts. Also I think there is a fix for tethering.
