Wanting stock swype, new beta version doesn't work.

I am running hexen 1.0.1 on my global and recently swype beta made me update to their new version. It doesn't work it constantly looses my touch when swyping turning one word into 3. Is there a way for me to get the stock swype, and install it on hexen. I know there are paid swype apps on the market, but i would prefer a free optiion. Any help please.
