I'm having some problems with my Razr. Besides general lagging and slowing down, the battery dies so quickly. Sometimes I will have it in my bag for 2 or 3 hours on a full charge and when I take it out it will only have 5 percent, with no use at all. I checked if any apps are running in the background and even when I force close things and turn off the wifi/3g or 4g it still will die within a few hours.
I'm also having a problem with my keyboard. Sometimes when I try to type the "key" will "depress" and make the tactile feedback noise, but the text field will stay blank. Sometimes if I exit and reopen it will fix itself, but sometimes not. Very frustrating.
Third problem is the one that gets me the most. Sometimes when I try to make a phone call the same thing will happen, the call button will "depress" but the phone doesn't register it. Sometimes it won't work at all, sometimes it will start dialing the number 5-10 minutes later, which is obviously very inconvenient.
I bought the phone last January. I was having the same problems with it (and more- overheating, not connecting to 3/4g, etc) so Verizon replaced it in late October. Now the replacement phone that I've only had for 4 or 5 months is doing the same thing, only this time I can't get it replaced again because it's not under warranty anymore even though I'm obviously bound to a 2 year contract. The woman on the phone this morning tried to convince me to use my brother's upgrade (which he desperately needs) and buy a new $300 phone. No thanks.
I like the phone and am not craving a new one yet, and don't exactly have the money to spend right now. Any help on how I can my phone be at least a little more functional?
