Was rooted: lost SU status after phone reset

For some reason I cannot use root explorer any more to change the names of files such as WorkGroups.abk.

Do I need to go back to ADB and do something or am I missing a step I am supposed to complete if I reset my phone once rooted?

When you say reset, do you mean restart. Like you turned your phone off then back on? If so, you may not have properly applied root. Halfway through the rooting process you have temp root. So if you turn the phone off while you have temp root, once you boot up again you no longer have it.

I feel dumb. I had to select-unselect-select r/w in root explorer. :(
