.Wav file

I have vonage and voicemails are sent to me as emails with .wav attachments. I think that when I was on 2.1, I could open this file, but now it says "unable to find viewer for audio/x-wav"
anyone have any solutions? I don't think I moved any bloatware files critical to audio, but I can't be so sure.
other searches have said that Droid X can't open these files.....but like I said, I think I was able to when I was 2.1
