Greeting to the Droidforums Nation! Having used a Treo 650 and 755p for the last six years, I've finally converted over to a Droid Incredible. It was done with a heavy heart, because the treo's performed wonderfully. I looked at the Palm Pre, because Verizon had them marked all the way down to 49 bucks out the door. Palm is not what it once was when I became hooked on those heavy blocks! I chose to go this rout for $100 after rebate and renewal. The apps are kewl and I've already downloaded several.

One question. My daughter talked me into downloading Pandora, and it said that there may be additional charges from too much band width. Does my #30/mth Verizon data package cover all of this? Thanks and it's nice to be here.

Hey, welcome. I had a 755p (Sprint) for 2 years and then a Pre for a few months. I LOVE Android and the quality of these handsets. The Treo was a solid beast, and that is lacking in the Pre. IMO you made the right choice.

WebOS is pretty sweet, though I don't miss it with all the cool stuff I can do on my Droid. dancedroid

EDIT: You don't need to worry about your bandwidth if you're using internet or data-using apps on your phone though technically there is a 5GB cap. Tethering is really the only thing that might get you in trouble, data-wise...

Thanks guys. Glad to hear from a Post Pre user that I made the right choice. I go to Pandora through the apps, so I should be OK.
