Weather Widget Not Updating Automatically

I recently found that every time I go into the weather widget settings and check off "update automatically", as soon as I exit and go back into it, it's checked off again. I went into the Verizon store and an employee with an Incredible said he was having the same issue & that it may be a software issue. I remember a while back that there was an issue with the weather not showing up at all, so I'm guessing it's the same situation. Is anyone else experiencing the same thing, or something similar?

I have the same problem,phone is 3 weeks old,i find if i turn it off and back on then all ok for a few hours i just done a soft reset,ill see what happens.

You must sync weather in the sync opinion in the setup menu

I have a Droid X. There is no "sync option". My Motorola weather widget still does not update.
