Web email frustration with hotmail

I have the factory email app on my phone that I use to access hotmail. For some reason my messages keep coming back as "not sent". Unlike my text messages I can't find an option to resend an unsent message. Why is this happening and how can I resend an unsent message?

Did you check the draft folder? There should be emails there that weren't sent. I use the factory app on moto droid i'd like to point out that hotmail doesn't like "programs/bots" accessing it's account so once in a great while they'll send out a "please check into our website" email which if I'm not mistaken will stop your account from sending emails might want to check that. In addition, download and install alogcat then try sending a test email to your gmail account. Then open up alogcat see if you can find an error message.

Hotmail is POP3, so they will keep showing until they're deleted from the web interface.

POP3 is an older type service. You can't change it because all Hotmail accounts are setup using POP3.
