"Website unavailable"

Since rooting my Droid 2 smartphone, some websites are continuously returning "website unavailable." I had installed Adfree, but I have now uninstalled. Need help with options to correct this. Still did not correct the problem.

Did you just uninstall adfree or did you tell it to restore the stock host file first?
