Weird music issue

I organized my media folder on my Audio folder on my SD card into ringtones, notifications, and music. Once I moved my songs from the main audio folder to the music folder, the player wouldn't play any itunes (M4a) songs. It said that it couldn't play the file format. Once I moved them back into the main audio folder they played with no problems. Why would that be?

hmmm.....I always thought this would be possible to do...but I guess not..
