Weird text messaging issue..

Not sure if this is just a bug or redesign with the Droid 2. But I've noticed that when you go to your messaging screen(that shows all your conversations in text with people)...It no longer displays how many texts you have with each person.

This showed up on my Droid 1 but does not show up on my droid 2...Weird..

Again it would look something like this..

(picture) Jane Smith (854) texts

But on my droid 2 it just shows up like this

(picture) Jane Smith


Kinda of annoying it won't show me how many texts I have with a person...I've looked everywhere for this feature.

I'm not certain but I'm pretty sure you can download an app and get that same feature. Try handcent. I think with the D2 it was unnecessary so I don't use it but that might be a solution for you. I myself wouldn't consider that a problem, but YMMV so I understand.

Well true...I wouldn't go so far as to call this a bug I guess...But for some reason I'm seeing more and more little small things that I'm missing from my Droid 1....Don't get me wrong..Droid 2 is a much better phone in terms of preformance..It's the little things that they changed that are starting to annoy me...


Another big one....The fact that I can't remove the slider to open the phone...I used to love the fact that once I changed it to a pattern lock..I didn't have to use that damn slider...
