Hello All!

I got a Droid X (verizon) 2.2 two days ago. Never have I experienced such a learning curve with a phone! I am glad I found this forum; I am going to need a lot of help.

Current question: How do I get my phone to NOT announce who is calling and who is sending me a text? I have it set to ring only, I have "rebooted" but it is still announcing. Anyone?

Do a battery pull, then just leave it out.

From your home screen, menu/settings/call settings/ caller id settings/ ring only.
Thats the only info i could find for you.
