No. The only Shattershield phones in the world are the Turbo 2, Moto X Force, the Z Force and Z2 Force. The Moto G series is a mid-range budget phone, so no water proofing. They are not meant to be flagship phones with all the best specs. They are meant to be a good phone at a very reasonable price.
And the Moto G series has been voted the best of the mid range phone many years in a row by respected tech sites. They are awesome if you just want a really good, fast, snappy, stock Android phone at a much lower cost than the flagship models.
