Well hello again everybody!

Some of you "old timers" might remember me from when the Bionic first came out back in September. I was among the first to get the phone and posted frequently here. Back in December I gave up fighting with my phone and traded it for another unnamed device.

For the past couple months I have been longing for my Bionic back so I've been searching Craigslist every few days for one at a fair price and finally today it came to me.

I just got home from buying and activating a gently used Bionic from a very nice older gentleman who has recently retired thus has no more need for a smartphone.. the best part of the deal is he was only asking for $100 for it! Oh yeah! I'm SO in for that:)

Also, while at the VZW store getting the phone activated I asked if they had the lapdocks in stock and sure enough they had 1 for me. So $50 for the lapdock, $100 for the phone and what can I say, I'm back!

So.. whats new around here? Anything interesting I should know about?
And yes, I missed you guysssss!

Just one piece of advice. And I am an old timer. If it don't say Motorola, it ain't a Droid. ;)

:welcome: back Speeding Wheels! We missed you too.

Tapped from a Galaxy Nexus using Xparent ICS

Well, yesterday all of us in this forum got a pre-release of ICS. You missed it by one day! Now you have to wait until sometime 3rd quarter. In the meantime there are two leaks that have been floating around for a few weeks. 904 and 905. Mix results but the impression I got is 904 kills the batter for many and 905 works real well. Have not tried them myself, my Bionic is rock solid. If it aint broke I am not going to fix it. There was also a soak test invitation sent out about 3 weeks ago, but a soak never happened.

Welcome back! Hope the Bionic works better for you this time around.

As a fellow lapdock owner (I picked up the Lapdock 500 when they were on sale for $150 a few months back), you might be interested to know that Webtop 3.0 (which is part of Moto's ICS build, aka BlurWich) does away with Firefox and the current Webtop setup completely. Instead, it basically converts Webtop into a tablet-style implementation of ICS with the stock browser (or Chrome). Apparently it's much more stable and eliminates the "low memory" errors that sometimes plague the current version.

Here's a video of Webtop 3.0 on the Droid RAZR ICS leak. Webtop 3.0 hasn't been officially confirmed for the Bionic, but since we are confirmed for ICS in Q3 I would be very surprised if it didn't include this.

One more lapdock note: None of the current Bionic ICS ROMs work with Webtop. So you'll want to stay away from those if you plan to use your lapdock.
