What am I doing wrong here?

I am trying to get my phone ready to flash the new liberty ROM but I am having issues. I downloaded the Droid 2 Bootstrap app by Clockworkmod but everytime I click on Reboot Recovery or Bootstrap Recovery it just reboots. It doesn't go into recovery. How do I backup my current ROM with this?

I know this is a rediculous request but can someone post or pm me a step by step from just after rooting to completion of flashing Liberty 1.5. I need to know how to back up my current ROM...verify it is successful, back up all my apps and such (I have titanium backup) and then install the new rom.

you have to hit bootstrap recovery THEN reboot recovery.

yeah I figured that out at like 3am this morning or so. Thank you very much for the response though...
