What App is this from?

I have an sms notification icon on my status bar that I don't want. It looks like a white postcard and has to be cleared by pressing "clear". It started showing up about a week ago and is bugging me. I use the stock sms app that is included with SnkBitten. I tried turning off notifications within the stock app but that has no effect on the postcard. I installed handcent and then had the handcent icon and postcard. Can someone tell me where it came from and how to get rid of it?

Rom - SnkBitten 2.2.2
Launcher - LauncherPro Plus v0.8.1.1

when you tap on the notification in the pulldown, what app does it open?

other people have also had this random icon, i'm not sure if they've figured out what it is. i dont know, but its a semi-common problem

When tapped it opens the stock sms app.

Have you installed any other type of notification app? Or what apps were installed around the time you noticed it showing up?

No I hadn't installed another messaging app before it started. That's why I'm confused by it. I do install and delete a lot of apps but I've been generally happy with the stock sms app.

Go to app-manaage app-all-messaging and clear defaults. Now what app does it open when you tap it?

Went there. It says no defaults are set and the clear button is greyed out.
