Instead of asking about all those apps and services you should search the forums a little better so you can narrow down your list. There are several threads that will help you with an answer for almost all your asking about. And really with names like gallery or backup assistant you have no clue what they do?

Even better, if you read then name of each app then you will know what it is. Also, there is this amazing thing called google. ;) search first, ask question second.

Ok, but what does all that stuff do? I want to know if I'm using it or not.

Dont worry about it. If you want the bloatware gone run the bloatware script. It will remove all the extra junk on the phone like DLNA. The rest are vital system functions for the most part so it doesnt matter if you use them or not. If you remove them your just going to have to restore the phone with an SBF or maybe factory reset, or a nandroid back up if you have one.

Agree, just do not touch it! Use the script if you like stock or flash a rom and continue to not worry about it. Skifta is beta but I think it runs better than stock dlna app. Tho I guess dlna in general is still beta.

Since you are new I suggest fenom or angel rom. Fission is buggy and dead in the water. Liberty is not ment for d2g. I prefer fenom.

Liberty is not meant for the D2G but aside from the sensors it runs perfect for me, and the sensors are trivial for me.

Cool, I never tried it since the sensors are not to me =p I like them too much. Glad it works, was there any work on the sensors? Or is it still at a stand still?

X4X4, if that one ROM disconnects the sensors does that mean when you watch Youtube app videos it has to be the teeny tiny portrait picture instead of the marginally larger landscape version? Or are the sensors something else?
