For those of you that know, this is the 5.5 inch 2560x1440 Quad HD panel that LG just got approved for mass production. It's just 1.2mm thick, requiring a 1.15mm bezel which will make an impressive smartphone. Probably one of the most interesting qualities is that this screen produces 100% RGB color reproduction and claims an astonishing 538 ppi.
I should also note that Byung-koo Kim, Vice President and Head of LG Display’s IT/Mobile Development Group in a Press Conference mentioned, "These products are going to maintain sufficient competitive advantage in premium product categories where large size, high resolution and low power consumption are key factors."
