what does benchmarking 150 mean?

I am running BB 0.7.6 and have experienced no problems - but I am curious/interested in the new kernel (the AdamZ version). . . my question is how / where is this kernel and although I am rooted and running an non-stock ROM, I have no clue on the kernel and how to install a different one? Anyone care to enlighten a willing Droid learner? 
That's really not good to be perfectly honest. Somethings not right I think.

I am running sholes 2.05 and 1000mhz and my average is between 246-250
Same only 1.2ghz and I'm drawing 172-178 pretty consistently, with the worst seen at 212. Maybe that's about right then for 1ghz.

That would be my guess... I can't say its very consistant on mine tho. I just did it again and it was 245-260 doing it like ten times every ten seconds...
hmm I'm getting 178-190 on my benchmarks with BBv0.7.9 @ 1.1Ghz. It's weird that it says it's using Adamz Kernel though so I lost the 1.2Ghz. I wonder if Pete is usuing Adamz kernel as I haven't manually flash Adamz Kernel.

Actually I cranked mine up last night to 1.1 and it was right around 180 same as urs. So it's probabaly pretty normal I would guess..
