what happen if you charge the phone when it's turned off

Mine turning on itself by charging it.
But I found this on motorola site.

Train your battery
Train the battery by fully charging it and draining the
battery until it shuts off.

1. With the device turned off, fully charge the
battery until the LED no longer flashes and
remains on.
2. Let the battery charge for an additional TWO
hours.
3. Repeat the process again (perform twice in a
row) and you should experience improved
battery life.
 
Yep, you can't charge the phone while it's off. If that battery is drained it will be off for a bit, but then turn on once the battery has enough juice. I just put mine to sleep when charging.
 
That train ur battery thing is outdated advice. All of it really. Don't worry about it. Only thing you should avoid is draining the battery completely to often as that will shorten battery life
