What happened to my phone? DIcons and password keypad have changed?

I had my Razr in my pocket one night and the next morning its appearance had totally changed, as well as the battery power was completely empty. I was also at a "foam"-rave party that night, so moisture may have occured, but the phone itself now works fine other then the altered appearance. After I charged and restarted the phone, The wallpaper was the same but the icons, the start up password buttons/appearance had changed, and the Golf game is no longer loading. Currently the screen shows a pulsating key gives me options of Unlock/Camera/Phone or Text when pressed, which it didn't show before. I also lost the gallery images of certain friends on their phone number & texts, but others did not disappear. Anyone know what happened?

Your phone upgraded to ics from the sound of it. The key unlock is a new lock screen that comes with this OS.

Welcome to the forums! ICS isn't as bad as a lot of people claim it is. There are several different lock screen styles, including the slide to unlock feature. Play around with it a bit. You may like it.

Also a lot of problems people have is they refuse to do a factory reset which I highly recommend. It makes sure everything plays nice together.

I had an update notice when I turned the phone on this morning and that it would shut down and take about 15 min to upgrade.It came back on and other than a few passwords that I had to enter some of the things that i had issues with were fixed and now working fine. So for me it was a smooth upgrade.:biggrin:

Thanks for the welcome. Perhaps I was a bit hasty in poo-pooing ICS. I have played around with it and dl some pretty cool lock screen styles. One big question
1. I have is regarding my data usage. I've heard some people say 4gigs is plenty for them, but I'm not even using Pandora or Netflix and it seems like my data usage's 4 gigs goes like nothing. I can't be watching THAT much fb and porn! Is data being used when I use "Play Music" ? or should I be using "My Music" instead? I wouldn't think I would need/be using data when I'm listening to music I put on my sim card.
2. Also, I am thinking of getting a laptop, can I connect or teather my droid razr to my laptop? Thanks y'all for the responses.

Unless I'm mistaken, my music is for music on your sdcard, play music is from a cloud..
