What happens when you Factory Reset?

I've got some "glitchy" things going on with my Rezound and since I haven't loaded a lot of apps on it. I wondered if there was anything I should be aware of before I flip the switch?

Basically, an fdr is going to set your phone back to like it is new out of the box...deleting your apps, settings, texts, call logs, any photos on internal storage, etc. Your removable sdcard contents will be fine (unless you wipe that too, but no need to do that).

Some of your settings, your contacts, play store installed apps etc are backed up into your google (gmail) account and can be restored.

With My Backup you can backup your call logs (make sure they are being saved to your removable sdcard) and SMS Backup & Restore is great for saving your texts.

A guide for helpful ideas when backing up and restoring before doing an fdr see: http://www.droidforums.net/forum/rescue-squad-help/219101-getting-most-success-upgrading-ics-gb.html

Windows 3? Sweetheart, you sound just like my hubby! He's a mainframe snob. Doesn't want anything to do with a - God forbid - "PC", and I'm still not sure if he could even unlock my laptop. I'll NEVER get him into a "Smart" phone.
