What if phones did like the kindle...

If phones did like the kindle...for a cheaper device, you'd get ads on your lockscreen.

I'm not sure if i'd like it on my phone, but if the cost savings were substantial, I think I could put up with it. Or maybe same price, but you can choose 2 year contract or ads on lockscreen? Or maybe 2 yr contract and ads and device is nearly free?

I got my kindle before they offered the cheaper, ads on lockscreen, version. On the kindle, I don't think the ads on lockscreen would bother me at all.

If my phone were free unlimited test, data and call then yes.
