What is an sbf?

I feel like a fool for having to post this but I couldn't find much information on it, and I've never owned a Droid phone before.

I keep seeing a lot of posts about needing an "sbf" for droid 2 global themes. Could someone please explain what an "sbf" is and how it is used in conjunction with D2G themes?

Thank you!

-Emily

A sbf file is the ultimate rescue file to fix your broken Motorola phone. It is the same file the techs use at Verizon if you take your phone in to have them fix it. As long as you can access your phones boot loader, you can fix 99% of bricked phones. You need a program called RSD lite to flash your phone, as well as the correct drivers. The sbf is out there, search Google for it. Due to a C&D issued by Motorola, you will not find the file here though.
