What is the best Froyo app killer?

Ever since Froyo came out I have been using the Task Killer (Froyo) to try to save my horrible battery from dying after a couple hours. Someone from Verizon told me a couple weeks ago that they were coming out with a new app killer that would work great with Froyo. I'm just curious what app everyone else uses to help with battery life.

I've already gotten a Droid 1 like new replacement because my battery life was so horrible, but even on the phone they sent me everything is the same and my battery dies after a couple hours.

Any help would really be appreciated.
