What keyboard are you using?

I have a DX, custom rom etc. I've been trying out different keyboards & I'm still not sure which one to stick with.

So my question is, what keyboard do you guys have installed on you DX?

swype? I don't know what you mean by custom keyboard, could you give an example? But really I'm looking forward to an app called Blindtype, was a small company that got taken over by google, here's a vid:

I've been using swype to see if I can get really good on it. Its predictive text is pretty good but I am a touch typist and it's not easy looking at the screen to type with one finger covering up the keyboard so some words are recognized incorrectly because of my crappy swyping.

Used the built in regular keyboard for the first month and a half and it't not bad either. I go between them depending on what I'm doing. Otherwise, swype seems to be what I'm using the most.

One random thing about swype that bugs me is that in terminal emulators and connectbot the delete key doesn't do anything. No typos or else you're sol. As opposed to stock keyboard which the delete key does work. IDK what the deal is lol

I have the Droid1 and I'm using both the Swype and Multi-Touch keyboards from the X. Heh heh. I switch back and forth between them. I prefer Swype but correcting errors is too time consuming so I spent more time with the MT keyboard. I've tried some of the other keyboards out there, quite a few in fact, but didn't like them for one reason or another. I think what came stock on the X are the best options.

How do you get the X keyboard to work on your Droid? I've tried and haven't been successful in getting it to work.

Thanks for all of the input guys. I had installed a rom which gave me androids stock keyboard... & I tried a couple others. I installed the multi-touch keyboard that originally came on the phone on top of the rom & I'm liking it better then everything else I've tried. Do believe I'll stick with it! dancedroid

Slide it, similar to Swype but I like it alot better. Don't have to loop for double letters.
