Well to me it seems to me that it depends on the users. If you like bright colors you will prefer the display where the colors are brighter, same if you prefer your a display with deeper blacks, or better daylight visability. And they key statement he made is as a user once your eyes get use to a display its the best you seen until you see another phone to compare with. Meaning al the time before you did not care it was ok for you to do everything you needed it to do until some one came along and said "this is better" and then the screen you loved before now is not good enough anymore. That is called marketing and is how businesses make money. If you are happy with how your phone looks for you dont worry about someone coming along saying "this is way better than that".
Any way that is my 2 cents.
