What the heck is wrong with my Tbolt???

Phone was at 95 percent charge when i went to bed so i left it off the charger. Awoke this morning to it being completely dead. Hooked it to the charger and have not been able to get it to boot up. It gets to the white HTC screen and shuts off. Then restarts and gets to the white HTC screen and shuts off. It is running in a continuous loop like that.

I am fixing to head to work. Going to stop at the VZW store, hopefully they can get it resolved. My phone is not rooted.

Did you let it charge up some? This happens my OG droid now. I use it for music and forget it about it for a week and it just boot loops when I turn it on unless I give it some time to charge.

once the phone is stone dead you need to plug it into the wall outlet. not enough juice through the usb on a computer.

It is on the wall charger. I even tried taking the battery out, putting it back in, then hooking back to wall charger. As soon as the phone sees some juice it tries to turn on and boot up, starting the looping process.

Also, what in the world killed my phone over night from a 95 percent charge? Maybe the battery shorted out? It has never done that before.

I would just let it keep going until it gets enough charge to boot up. It most likely was an app that was running that killed your battery. Download battery history and go to partial usage and see whats using your battery. Also, why not just leave your phone plugged in all night?

Ok I will try that. As a rule i usually leave my phone on the charger. I got tired and lazy last night. It was at 95 percent charge so i just set my alarm and rolled over and went to sleep lol.

Yeah I gotcha lol...hopefully it boots up for you but I'm sure thats what it is and nothing is actually wrong with your phone.

Well....it was the phone. VZW store replaced the battery with known charged battery. Phone still fubar. So they swapped it out under warranty.

I just find it odd that the phone crapped out like that while sitting idle on my nightstand.

I know that. One person posted to let it charge b4 turning it on. Hard to do that when it turns on automatically.

As a rule, I always put mine in airplane mode at night. It saves your battery quite a bit.
