What to do before selling rooted Droid X?

Within the next few months I'll be upgrading to a different phone. I currently have a rooted Droid X running Liberty ROM and was wondering what I should do to it before selling? Simply wipe all personal data? Unroot and go back to stock (not looking forward to trying that)? Can someone even activate a rooted phone?

I wouldn't. I would leave it rooted, do a factory reset. Of course I still have my rooted Droid X after I upgraded to Bionic a couple months back. Currently it is used as an alarm clock and mp3 player. I think I loved that phone too much to sell it. Besides limited ram and single core isn't really worth much.

I agree, I'd keep it and leave it rooted and use it as an iPod.

However, if you do wanna sell it, I'd recommend just flashing an SBF. Returns it to complete stock, unrooted, like it's brand new out of the box.
