I spilt some water on a table where my Droid was sitting. Picked it up and dried it off. Not long after anytime I press the camera button it A) Decreases the ring tone volume B) Opens a google search and starts typing C) May cause other buttons to be pressed.
I opened up the droid to look for damage and dry it out. Problem remained. Did a factory reset through the settings control panel. The problem still remains.
Whenever I press the camera button it goes crazy. I've finally had to remove the camera button altogether just so it can't be pressed.
- Yes the water damage indicator turned red despite such a small amount of exposure.
- Can't do a HARD factory reset because the steps to do so require that the camera button function normally.
- Everything other than this button works fine.
Looking for any advice if there is any to give...
