Hey everyone!

My name is Alvin and I am debating on which phone to keep as my first. I have been browsing these forums for some time now and since I have gotten the Thunderbolt, I have run into many battery problems and I think the Incredible 2 is a smaller, better, mini-bolt if you will, phone that can do what the thunderbolt does minus the 4G. Tell me if this is a fair conclusion. I am a college student so the phone will be used for mostly text, some internet when I'm not with my laptop, some games, and some calls obviously. The 4G on the Thunderbolt is very fast but in reality when loading a webpage, isn't this no more than like an extra 5 seconds loading time on each page? I think I can wait that much longer. What do you guys think I should get? Any advice?

Thanks and I'm very excited to join in!

I am in the same boat as you (I don't have a 4g phone tho).

I will be more than comfortable with a 3g phone, so I'm looking at the Dinc2 and the D3.

Both have their strong points and weaknesses for sure, but either phone is a strong contender.

D3 FTW its all kinds of awesome straight out of the box.

end of line...

The Dinc2 is an awesome phone in its stock form and only got better with the newest update. Size is perfect, battery life is great, and it will only get better once 2.3.3 is rooted. Its already been overclocked to 1.65 ghz which is stupid fast. As far as the internet goes, it doesn't take more than 5 seconds for most of my pages to load so 4G not an issue with this phone IMO. I loved my original Droid and am just as happy with my Dinc2.

My advice is to wait until Aug 4th for the Bionic and make a decision

welcome to the forum. well we don't have 4G yet either so .... im ok with 3G even tho it really becomes a bothersome.
