when did the droid keyboard keys change?

I have a droid i got about 3 months ago and I have all the normal I hate this keyboard rants everyone else has. (i'd still never buy a phone without one thou)but my girl friends mom just got one today and the keys are totally different and so much easier to type on. like mine are raised bumps with no really feel at all and hard to push. hers are totally flat but have a great click feel to them while being really easy to push and oddly makes it feel better spaced.


anyone else notice this? I feel like I want a newer one lol.

The keys seem to bloat after use, I got my most recent droid about a month ago and the keys have noticeably changed. They started out flat and now appear rounded like you're talking about.

really, you know after looking closely you might just be right. but if so, wow they changed a hell of a lot. i can't believe i didn't notice it happening.


i'm having a hard time getting good pics.

Mine are still flat after buying it day one... but I don't use the keyboard that much.
