With my D1 whenever I turned it off and plugged it into an outlet it would turn back on completely as I believe most Android devices do, but I'm not sure. But with my D3 I turned it off and when I plug it in it only partially turns on, turns on to the screen with a big battery indicating how much it is charged, to turn it on completely i have to hold down the power button.

Same here. My old enV touch did that too, and when I switched to the OG Droid I missed that feature. Now it's back. Love it.
