When is the next version of Motorola Droid hardware coming out?

I was hoping Motorola would release the next version of the hardware soon, maybe tweaking the keyboard etc. Any idea when they will be releasing a newer model of hardware? thanks

No rumors or anything have surfaced so anything anyone says will be based on speculation.

With that said I wouldn't expect the next iteration of the Moto Droid not to be released until sometime in 2011 and be an LTE set-up.

I will stick with Verizon and the Android operating system, but not with motorola for my next phone. Probably an HTC or whatever else is on the market around next Christmas.

That is probably good thinking. I didn't take into consideration them waiting for 4G in 2011. I am suffering with my 3 year old phone and I didn't want to buy and have them release a new one a couple of months later. thanks for your help
