Hi I been having many issues with my new Droid x replacement phone that I got from Verizon because my old dx was stuck in a crash loop. I was wondering is it possible that my new phone was used / previously owned.

typically they're refurbished (certified like new replacement aka CLNR) or certified pre owned (CPO)

Thanks for the quick reply. I received a text from Verizon saying they received my old phone I sent to them. Is it possible to get it back in exchange for the new phone they sent?

Not usually. Once they receive the turn in phone they check for damages to make sure it wasn't falsely claimed via the warranty then they probably send it out to be refurbished.

You won't be able to get your old phone back, but if you are unhappy with your replacement, tell them why and ask for another.

I recently got a replacement phone. My original had developed problems with the touch screen.

The new one is (presumably) refurbished. Its been fine. Two weeks now, and I've noticed no problem at all.
