Where did my app go?

i have the moto droid. i downloaded a new home app and wasnt happy with it so i unisnstalled it. an update came out for the app the other day so i decided to reinstall it. i installed it and now it doesnt appear. it shows in the app manager but not in the app list. i have no way of opening it otherwise. does anyone have any ideas? im stuck, i talked to verizon techs and they dont even knows goin on. thx

You may have set the regular Home app as the default, or your replacement just forgot to ask you which Home app you wanted to use when you reinstalled it. Look for your home replacement in Menu > Settings > Applications > Manage applications. See if there's a clickable "Clear defaults" button. Press that, hit your home button, and you should be able to choose your home replacement again.
