Ok , the other day my music library disappeared . its still on the sd card but will not play through any my music .. i have dont a reboot , wiped cache but still no luck . the files are still on the card but i get no music. the only songs it shows are the ones on the internal memory ( alanmusicplayer) . does anyone have a solution to this.. yes i am running ics .

Have you tried to download another music APP from the Play Store to see if it will pick up the music on your SD that the stock one will not? You said you did a reboot, do you mean just power off and on? Or did you do a hard reset by holding the volume down and power button for 10 seconds?

Also you could clear data and force close the music player app. This could get you back online.
