Which phone to get?

As much as I love my droid I'm one of those people who loves to aquire new technology on a regular basis. Two weeks ago I was sure I wanted to get the DroidX. But then I was looking at the Galaxy S and thought it may be better overall. So I'm coming to the gurus here to help me with my decision.

Also modability is not really a concern for me too much.

Just my 2 cents. If it don't say Motorola, it ain't a real Droid. It's a brother Android phone.

I agree with Hook - only a Motorola is truly a "Droid". I also have a Droid Incredible, and it's a nice phone, but I usually refer to it as "the Incredible", while my Moto Droid is "The Droid" - slight emphasis on "The".

Picky, picky, PICKY, I know.

I completely agree, now back to the question at hand. I'm torn between waiting on the GalaxyS model or getting the X which just landed(pun intended)
