Hi,
I've had my Pixel 2 XL for a little over a year now. I like(d) to use it for photography sometimes, and since the stock camera doesn't let you change settings manually(other than applying filters) I downloaded a recommended manual camera app(Camera FV-5). I used that for a while, but eventually I realized that photos taken with this app tended to have excessive grain and always had an annoying dark area on the right and bottom edges that needed to be cropped out. I switched to another camera app(ProShot), but quickly found it to have the exact same issues. Here's an especially bad example:
The severity varies, but no matter what I set the ISO and exposure to it shows up to some extent. For reference, here's one taken with the stock camera app that has less grain and no issues with the edges:
Has anyone else had any issues like this, and are there any known solutions?
Thanks in advance.
