Why does Samsung store try to update same apps that are in play store

Sometimes it updates apps from the play store and other times it says can't be updated as downloaded from play store

For instance it just updated waze via the galaxy store but I had downloaded it from play store it also tried to update angis list but it says can't update as it was downloaded from the play store and then I got to the play store and I can update the app again

Are their dupe versions?

They are not dupes but usually what I do is I will update my apps from the Play store and not the Galaxy..

If you go to settings in Galaxy then find apps ..delete that one ..

I don't see any on my Samsung phone as dupes ...I would delete any if possible in Galaxy store

No dupes for me it's just weird that galaxy store and play may update to different updates

Yeah I've seen that before though I think deleting it from the Galaxy and then checking back to make sure you have it in the Play store. It's the way to go..
