why is Google services...

Why is Google services all of a sudden using up 67% of my battery and staying awake for hours... I lose so much battery when I am sleeping and the phone isn't even on because of this. How do I change or fix it from happening. Any help appreciated.

My problem a few months ago was Google +. I disabled the sync to Google +. No problems since. Can you see which specific service is doing this? Have you noticed an increase in data consumption?

It says Google services included packages with that are Google account manager, Google contacts sync, Google services framework, Google play services and network location. Have not noticed an increase in data usage. Will a fdr fix this? Or a battery pull? Any ideas?

Any time you're having anything odd going on and immediately after any update, do a 1 minute battery pull. This will fix or avoid many issues. Failing that, I would take the advice above and disable Google+ sync.

Thanks for posting this! I'm having the same problem. Started after last week's small update. After 1 hour off the charger, I'm down to 87%.
