Wi-Fi Hotspot and call ability

Hey peeps,

I was informed that you could use the Wi-Fi Hotspot and make/receive calls simultaneously.

I talked to a few people from Verizon (including a couple of management friends) that this was not the case.

Its either/or. If a call comes in while the hotspot is being used the hotspot will drop the transmission.

Is this true? Or can the Droid 2 take/make phone calls while using it as a wi-fi hotspot?

As soon as the call comes in the hotspot the transmission is dropped.

The rooted tether app is what I tested it on.

No, you cannot use them at the same time.
