I'm not sure if I'm the only one to stumble across this, but in the stock launcher its possible to put widgets and folders in thevapp dock at the bottom of the screen. So for example, I have phone, Dolphin and the apps button taking up 3 slots. One more has a folder with 4 app icons and a widget (Dash Clock settings).
