Getting new Droid DNA Tuesday!!!!!

Need to transfer data files (MP4/MP3) between my PC and the Droid DNA via my Verizon DSL wifi router. I know there's Dropbox. AndFTP as well. I think I can setup my PC as a Filezilla server to the DNA. Concerned repeated use of Droid DNA USB port might break the port. Also using wifi will save $$$$ over 3/4G data usage.

Has anyone done this?

Right now - for ease - using AirDroid as Filezilla is not secure. Still one wonders who is looking at your data on the AirDroid servers......

Micro USB ports have a service life of over 10,000 cycles, elcheapos are questionable from the get go. the cable that comes with it should last you years.
