Wifi forces on after installing ICS 2233 leak on bionic

Anyone else having this happen ? the wifi notification keeps popping up and even tho I have told it not to auto connect, it won't remain off. This was not happening at first but monday my fone was overheating and I thought I had screwed something up tinkering with wifi tether apps. Just wondering if anyone else seeing this.

There is a setting you can change. It defaults to want to turn on wireless automatically. I can't remember how I found it, but a window of some kind popped up allowing me to change it to not always automatically turn back on.
